A Hydrogen Cartridge pressure vessel for storing and activating hydrogen, for use within a hydrogen fuel cell system, with custom-designed dished ends, flanges and internals. This complex vessel required minimal weight, precision welded nozzles and pipework. This prototype vessel required close working with the client to produce a product that suited the customer quality and dimensional requirements. 16 custom made laser cut and machined parts were required for the internals of each end cap. They provide strength and support to the end cap and required precision welding to the inside of the end cap. A Pickle and passivated surface finish completed the vessel with a high-quality finish.
