Backwash Pressure Vessels 316/L used for a water treatment plant for end-user Scottish Water. Designed and manufactured as a set of 4 in our clean workshop in Tamworth. The design considered a 1mm corrosion allowance, cyclic loading and required Radiography, Ultrasonic testing and DPI. Finished with a Pickle and passivated surface finish and polished to .6 μm internally. The vessels feature PN10 RFWN flanges
Along with wastewater Backwash Pressure Vessels 316/L, we produce a wide range of Products for the UK Water Industry. We are registered on Defra’s “List of Approved Products for use in Public Water Supply in the United Kingdom” enabling us to manufacture pressure vessels in 304 and 316 stainless steel.
