A project for a Biomethane Fuel Pressure Vessel used for developing a new renewable energy system. The Vessel is designed to -196°C requiring specific weld procedures and qualifications to comply with the design code and directive. Made from Stainless steel 316/L, the vessel features a 300# Body flange and a custom machined nozzle.

6000 Litre ASME U Pressure Vessel made from Stainless Steel 316/L. Used as a chemical storage project located in Qatar. Designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of ASME U and Shell DEP specifications. The ASME U Pressure Vessel required 100% Ultrasonic testing, 100% DPI, Spot Radiography and 100% PMI. Finished with a Pickle and passivated surface finish followed by an external paint to the client’s specification.

We recently completed a batch of 6Mo Pressure Vessels for a high-pressure application. The design required full penetration welding throughout. 100% Radiography PMI and DPI were performed. A bright pickle and passivated surface finish completed the vessels. Returning the material to its virgin state improving the corrosion resistance.

Hydrogen Water Separator Vessel for a Clean Energy project, designed and manufactured in our Tamworth workshop. Made from Stainless Steel 316/L featuring a cooling jacket with a complex nozzle set through the jacket. The design considers cyclic, seismic and transport loadings. As a result, NDT was carried out to meet the design conditions and code requirements, 100% Radiography and 100% DPI. Featuring nozzles that are RFSO and rated to PN40. To ensure smooth integration with the system, the leg and nozzle dimensions were critical. Finally, we applied a Pickle and Passivation surface treatment internally.

A recent project for a 1500 Litre Stainless Steel Buffer Tank. Designed and manufactured to ASME VIII Div.1 (NCMS) for use on a refrigeration project in the UAE by end-user Technip. The Vessel was fabricated in our Tamworth workshop and the surface finish and insulation were added by our customer. To meet the project requirements the vessel considered wind, nozzle and seismic loadings and required NDT: Spot Radiography, 100% DPI and 100% PMI.

At CPE we recently completed 3 off Stainless Steel Hydrogen Jacketed Pressure Vessels for the Hydrogen industry. Certified with the ASME U Stamp for use on a Hydrogen project in Australia. Containing Water and Hydrogen, the vessels feature a cooling jacket. 6000# screwed connections are used for the nozzles. The design required spot radiography and 100% DPI. They were Pickle and passivated for the surface finish.

Pure Water Filtration Vessel used in the Hydrogen Industry for the Puertollano Hydrogen project in Spain at CPE we are proud to be supporting the growing hydrogen and clean energy markets. The vessel contains internal filtration pipework. Made from Stainless steel 316/L the vessel required Full radiography, DPI and visual inspection. Designed in-house the vessel considers Cyclic, Nozzle loadings and Transport loadings. One of the nozzles is a custom sight glass. The vessel was completed with a pickle and passivated surface finish giving an improved corrosion resistance and a nice bright surface finish.

ASME U Reservoir Vessel 2 off made from Stainless Steel 316/L and finished with a 3 coat paint system to project specifications. The design considers a 1 mm corrosion allowance. The vessels were completed with NDT: 100% Radiography and 100% DPI designed to the ASME U code Stamp and PESR UKCA Mark.
