Stainless Steel Filtration Vessels. A batch of 7 off Filtration vessels custom designed for a European filtration project. The vessels required a custom internal layout, featuring directional tight tolerance blades, a custom reducer and internal spray balls. To meet the full vacuum design requirements a custom 12″NB 150# body flange to suit an EPDM O ring grove. Furthermore, the outlet nozzles were left to be butt welded on site. and the spray ball arrangement featured Tri-clamp ferrules. The vessels required 100% DPI. Finally, a Pickle and passivated surface finish completed the project.

ASME U Heater Housings of various sizes for a nitrogen heating system. The vessels were supplied with the ASME VIII Div.1 U part stamp and PED CE marking where applicable. Made from Stainless Steel 316/L and finished with a pickle and passivated surface treatment.

Along with these ASME U Heater Housings, CPE manufacture many types of heater housings for a wide range of offshore and onshore applications. We have supplied for the UK and international markets ensuring the design and manufacture meet the project and location requirements.

UKCA Water Pressure Vessel for the UK water industry. Supplied certified with the UKCA mark PE(S)R 2016. Made from Stainless Steel 316/316L the design considers cyclic loadings, wind loadings and DWI regulation requirements. for NDT 10% radiography, 100% DPI and 10% ultrasonic testing were carried out. A pickle and passivated internal and external surface finish treatment and an external paint finish was applied.

Along with UKCA Water Pressure Vessel, we produce a wide range of Products for the UK Water Industry. We are registered on Defra’s “List of Approved Products for use in Public Water Supply in the United Kingdom” enabling us to manufacture pressure vessels in 304 and 316 stainless steel. Gas Particulate Filter Housings, A set of 8 made from Stainless steel 304/L. Featuring PN16 RFWN flanges and internals to support the filtration system. The design required Spot radiography and 100% PMI on the materials.

Air Receivers ASME U & NR-13 for use on a Petrobras Brazil project. Made from Stainless steel and certified with the ASME U Stamp and NR-13. The application required all nozzles to be full penetration. 100% Radiography, DPI Ultrasonic testing and PMI were required. The Vessels were finished with a pickle and passivated surface finish.

EN13445 Heater Housings that were recently completed here at CPE. Used on a Shell LNG Plant and complying with Shell DEP project specifications. Made from Stainless Steel 316/L to EN13445 design code test group 1a and PED 2014/68/EU. The design covers high pressure and temperature and considers wind, seismic and transport loadings. Requiring 100% Radiography, 100% DPI, 100% ultrasonic testing, PMI and Ferrite checks. Surface finish: pickle and passivation.

A batch of Fire Protection Foam Vessels made from Stainless Steel 316/L. Designed and manufactured to PD5500 Cat.1. The vessels had 100% Radiography, 100% DPI and visual inspection for NDT. A 3-coat paint system surface finish completed the vessels. The vessels have critical nozzle locations a required shortened end caps. At CPE we will work to ensure that our customer’s specific design and quality requirements are met.

A 7350 Litre Surge Vessel made from Stainless steel 316/L. The Vessels 36 bar design pressure required a 25mm thick shell and dished ends and 10% Radiography, 100% DPI and Ultrasonic testing for NDT. The vessel required PN40 Flanges. A pickle and passivated surface finish was applied to comply with the water industry regulations. The 7350 Litre Surge Vessel was completed with a UKCA mark to comply with the new UK regulations.

This was the first project managed by one of our new project Engineers and with the fabrication done by one of our most experienced welders it has been a great learning opportunity.

A project for a Biomethane Fuel Pressure Vessel used for developing a new renewable energy system. The Vessel is designed to -196°C requiring specific weld procedures and qualifications to comply with the design code and directive. Made from Stainless steel 316/L, the vessel features a 300# Body flange and a custom machined nozzle.
