Hydrogen Receiver 2700 Litre volume made from Stainless steel 316/L for a UK-based Hydrogen Clean Energy Project. The design required NDT of spot radiography and 100% DPI. Full penetration welded PN40 RFWN flanges. A pickle and passivated surface finish was applied to clean the welds and give a bright clean finish.

A pair of 7000 Litre Saturator Vessels designed and manufactured in our Tamworth workshop. Made from Stainless steel 316/L to PD5500 cat 2 and DWI regulations for the UK water industry. The design considers cyclic and wind loadings and required 100% UT and DPI on all welds. Finished with a Pickle and passivated surface finish. The vessels feature PN16 RFSO Flanged connections and a 24″ NB Manway. A custom internal pipework arrangement was required in each vessel.

Along with these 7000 Litre Saturator Vessels, we produce a wide range of Products for the UK Water Industry. We are registered on Defra’s “List of Approved Products for use in Public Water Supply in the United Kingdom” enabling us to manufacture pressure vessels in 304 and 316 stainless steel. ASME U Air Receiver made from Stainless Steel 316/L with an external painted surface finish. For use on the Gallaf 3 project in Qatar. They were designed and manufactured with the ASME Certification mark with the U designator (U Stamp). The design considers project specifications detailing seismic, wind and transport loadings. For NDT 100% Radiography, 100% DPI, 100% UT, 100% PMI (XRF) and 100% Visual inspection were required. The vessel was finished with a pickle and passivated surface finish and an external paint to specification.

EN13445 Heater Housing made from Stainless Steel 316/L featuring an eccentric reducer from 20″ to 8″. The heater housing was designed to EN13445 test Category 1a and considered Shell DEP project specifications.

Requiring a full range of NDT, 100% radiography on the circ and long seams. 100% DPI, 100% Ultrasonic testing and required test plates and impact testing. the Vessel was finished with a pickle and passivated cleaning the welds and giving a bright clean finish.

CPE manufacture many types of heater housings for a wide range of offshore and onshore applications. We have supplied for the UK and international markets ensuring the design and manufacture meet the project and location requirements.

Hydrogen Process Vessels. A batch of 14 Stainless Steel 316/L pressure vessels for a Hydrogen Clean Energy project. Made to the EN13445 design code and dual certified to the UKCA (PESR) and CE (PED) directives. Similarly, they also consider project specifications including seismic and transport loadings. The Vessels required 10% radiography on the Circ seams and nozzle butt welds and 100% DPI. The vessels feature PN40 RFSO flanges. Finished with a bead blasted and Pickle and passivated surface treatment.

A set of 6 Stainless Steel Seal Pots, made from grade 316/316L. The project required full penetration welded 6000# screwed couplings for nozzles. Credit to our skilled team for managing to complete these large welds on such small vessels. The design and project required 100% Radiography, 100% DPI and Hardness testing. Finished with a pickle and passivated surface finish.

Along with Stainless Steel Seal Pots, we have extensive experience in safety-critical applications in demanding environments for industries that include oil & gas and nuclear. This means our welding and overall quality must meet the very highest standards. All of our vessels undergo regular in-house and Third-Party inspections throughout the manufacturing process, to ensure the final product has a level of quality that can be relied on.

5000 Litre Air Receiver made from stainless Steel 316/L we recently completed at our workshop in Tamworth. The vessel was constructed with the UKCA mark for a UK industrial project. The vessel featured a 24″ NB 150# manway and other flanged 150# RFSO nozzles. A Pickle and passivated surface finish completed the vessel.

Painted Air Receivers 7 Litre Volume made from Stainless steel 316/L. Finished with a 3-coat paint system. Designed and manufactured to ASME VIII Div.1 – U Stamp and PED 2014/68/EU.

Along with these Painted Air Receivers, we can provide Air Receivers ranging from 0.5 litres to in excess of 30,000 litres. Production can also vary from unique one-off designs to batch quantities in the hundreds. CPE have an in-house design team supported by project managers and our designated Welding Engineer.
