Surge Pressure Vessel 24m3

We recently completed this 24,000 litre surge pressure vessel for the UK water industry.

Designed and manufactured in accordance with PD 5500 Category 2, the vessel was certified to the Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations with UKCA marking and fully compliant with DWI drinking water requirements.

Rated for a 25 bar design pressure, the Surge Pressure Vessel was also designed to accommodate cyclic loading and wind loading requirements.

To ensure the highest quality standards, radiographic, dye penetrant and ultrasonic non-destructive testing were carried out throughout manufacture. The vessel was then finished with a pickle and passivation treatment to provide a clean and corrosion-resistant surface.
