Duplex Discharge Silencer Vessels were recently completed here at our Tamworth workshop. Made from Duplex Stainless steel UNS S31803. 2 off are 30″ NB and 2 off are 36″ NB. The vessels featured full penetration nozzles and an internal filter system. ASME U Stamp certification mark with the U designator was applied to the vessels meaning that an ASME-authorised inspector reviewed the design, monitored various production stages and witnessed and approved the hydro test. 100% Radiography, Ultrasonic testing, DPI and PMI were applied to the vessels. A pickle and passivation surface treatment and a 3-coat paint system completed the vessels.
