At CPE, we are proud to support our local community and are delighted to sponsor Tamworth Rugby Club’s Under 18 Girls Rugby Team, The Iron Roses for the next 3 years.
The team recently won the Woodys 7’s Tournament at a major girls-only rugby festival in Weston-on-Trent, Derby.
Grassroots sport plays an important role in developing teamwork, commitment and confidence, and we are pleased to contribute towards creating opportunities for young players to develop both on and off the pitch. The Iron Roses beat Aylesbury ATL U18s Girls 35-14 to lift the trophy. Congratulations to everyone involved on a fantastic achievement.
We look forward to following the team’s progress and wish them every success for the season ahead. Thanks to Simon Pearson (Head Coach) for giving us the opportunity to get involved and for all his hard work with the team.
Supporting local initiatives and investing in our communities is something we value highly, and we are proud to play a small part in helping local sport continue to thrive. With the home pitch being so close to our Tamworth facilities its great to be involved.

“Funding for rugby teams is vital, and girls rugby even more so. Doug and the team from CPE have gone above and beyond in supporting our team with the sponsorship.
This will help fund the team’s new centenary kit, which is celebrating 100 years of Tamworth RUFC. The funds will also support the girls for years to come with equipment, team-building days and activities to strengthen this already amazing set of girls.

The season ahead promises competitive fixtures, continued development, and more opportunities for young women across Tamworth to experience the best of rugby.
The Iron Roses welcome new players aged 16–18, whether beginners or experienced athletes.
